A large and enthusiastic audience attended the Northern Nevada Republican Men’s Club 2014 kick-off meeting, which featured Adam Paul Laxalt, grandson of former Nevada Governor and U.S. Senator, Paul Laxalt, as he announced his candidacy for Attorney General of Nevada. Mr. Laxalt stressed the importance of liberty and our freedoms in his presentation.
Mr. Laxalt served as a Lieutenant in the United States Navy, including on a tour in Iraq at Forward Operating Base Camp Victory where his team was in charge of 35,000 detainees. He is a former Federal Prosecutor and has authored several articles.

Also presenting at the meeting were Pieter Droog and Ben Gaul.
Mr. Droog, who is Branch Manager of ProNet, a nonprofit agency assisting unemployed professionals, described issues concerning unemployment figures today and in years past. He stressed that we all need to help the unemployed.
Ben Gaul, a marketer and writer, gave 12 rules of liberals, which include that liberals see feelings as more important than logic: “With liberals, facts are immaterial. It is all about perceptions.” Liberals also are more likely than conservatives to go into politics to achieve their goals.
