The powerful Nevada education union CCEA has announced plans to lobby for making Nevadans pay the highest average sales tax rates in the USA in order throw more money at our near worst-in-the-nation education system. Would this tax hike improve the education of our children? Probably not.
Nevada has the fourth-worst UI tax system in the nation, according to a 2020 analysis conducted by the nonpartisan Tax Foundation.
